HERstory is increasing female representation in history curricula.
HERstory is a history education database, easily accessible to educators and students for lessons, projects, readings and self-directed learning. It aims to include and credit important female figures who have been left out previously in the current Australian history curriculum. HERstory also incorporates female representation through avant-garde historical figures and events not widely taught in the current curriculum. It aims to implement and encourage discussion around current international women’s narratives and events concerning historical teachings in a schooling environment.
